The Relieve Psychology team is a group of highly experienced and compassionate professionals, each dedicated to providing a non-judgmental space for healing and growth. Paula Denton

Principal Psychologist/Practice Manager
Quals: B.A. (Hons)., Grad.Dip. Beh.Sci., Grad.Dip. Psych. M.Psych (M.APPi)
Paula is a registered psychologist. She is a passionate couple and family therapist who draws from Gottman, Imago and Schema frameworks to help understand and resolve family conflict with compassion, transparency and fairness to all parties. Paula enjoys working with adolescents and young adults from 14-25 facing issues such as anxiety, OCD, depression, self-esteem body issues, and eating disorders. Paula also works with anger management, men’s mental health issues (ED’s and relationship issues) and
perimenopause.
Paula uses a range of therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Psychodynamic Theory and Schema Therapy. In her spare time, Paula enjoys cooking, playing guitar and singing, song-writing, painting and attending live musical events

Rebecca 'Frankie' Latimer

Mental Health Accredited Social Worker
B. Soc.Sc; MSW; AMHSW Member AASW​

Frankie is a proud social worker specialising in psychological work. She utilises a variety of evidence-based approaches including somatic and nervous-system work (vagal nerve work, somatic experiencing), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), narrative therapies and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Her practice is grounded in interpersonal processes (the therapeutic alliance/relationship that is formed), a person-centered and strengths-based philosophy that informs her work moving forward.
Her areas of interest are both trauma and complex trauma, alcohol and addictions work and anybody who feels stuck in their lives and are looking for growth or change. Her background is in youth, Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), complex trauma and dementia.

Patricia Gallagher

Psychologist
B.A. Grad. Dip.(Psy)
Patricia is a dedicated and passionate psychologist with over 10 years of experience in the industry. She utilises a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her practice is grounded in a client-centered and empathetic approach, ensuring a strong therapeutic relationship is formed by tailoring strategies to each client's specific requirements.

Patricia's primary areas of practice include working with Trauma, Grief and Loss, and she has a strong interest in vocational counselling. She is very practiced in working with clients across the lifespan, including children.
